Sample Review: Collistar Anti-water Talasso Scrub

Remember when I showed you two scrubs from Collistar yesterday I couldn’t resist testing ASAP? 😉 You’re right, I couldn’t resist – used one up yesterday! 🙂 Curious? 😉

Using this scrub truly is an interesting experience, leaving you aromatherapied, and your skin supple, soft, moisturized and nourished. The scent of it is just amazing – a lot of essential oils and spices contribute to it! It could be quite overwhelming, so I’ll advise you to try the sample of this product first. It may very much happen that you won’t like this smell, especially if you’re sensitive to smell!

When scrubbing on wet skin, the scrub is soooo effective! I don’t imagine using it on my dry skin for a greater effect – that’s the other way on how to use this scrub. It exfoliates dead skin cells really good, leaving your skin oily from all the essential oils – a true SPA experience. The oils will sink into your skin quite quick, so you don’t have to worry about waiting before putting your clothes on.

These precious ingredients that stay on your skin (essential oils, spices) will continue to work with your skin even after you exit the bathroom. This scrub should have a fluid reducing and draining effect according to manufacturer’s claims, and even a slimming effectiveness (I can imagine that, since it drains your body of water; but maybe it does that even by some other process?). Last but not least, this scrub should invigorate you and your skin – and yes, I can confirm that, it’s been truly an amazing experience. 😉 Felt like SPA at home!

The sample (40g) is sufficient for one use; if you’re a physically big girl, you might want to use it sparingly so you won’t run out of the sample somewhere in the middle. It’s truly a unique experience and I’d like you to indulge in it as you’re supposed to – in a full experience!

All in all? This was a truly unique experience, so yes, I’d recommend this scrub to all SPA-feeling lovers! 😀

Tips:

  • Try out a sample of the scrub first – you may not like it’s scent so much.
  • Wash with soap prior to using the scrub; the scrub leaves an oily film on your skin, which reacts with your skin even further after leaving the shower and drying yourself!
  • If you’d like to wear your favourite perfume when going out, I recommend using this scrub in the evening before going to sleep. This way, the strong talasso scent of the scrub will diminish overnight. The scent still persists on your skin even 4 hours after.
  • You should not use this scrub every night though; it’s richness in essential oils can irritate your skin if used too often! Once a week will just perfectly do, and this is how it’s meant to use the scrubs anyways.
