Haul: Misslyn Velvet diamond nail polishes!

Hello, beauties!

This is a haul that was made through a number of days, but I wanted to publish it as a whole. All three nail polishes are from Misslyn, to these days I didn’t even know about this brand. All three are also from the Velvet Diamond collection, which is a sand effect collection (till now you probably got to know that I’m head over heels lately for sand effect polishes 😉 ).

Misslyn is a German brand of beauty products. Let’s have a look what they say about the Velvet diamond collection:

VELVETY DIAMOND EFFECT FOR YOUR NAILS

MAKE YOUR NAILS SPARKLE LIKE DIAMONDS. THIS SPECIAL NAIL POLISH CREATES AN INTERESTING CONTRAST BETWEEN A VELVETY MATTE FINISH AND A SPARKLING GLITTER EFFECT. THE LACQUER LOOKS RELATIVELY NORMAL WHEN APPLIED, BUT DEVELOPS A SPECIAL EFFECT AFTER A SHORT WHILE. AS THE POLISH DRIES, THE BASE COLOR BECOMES MATTE, CONTRASTING AGAINST THE GLITTER PARTICLES ON THE SURFACE OF THE NAIL. THE NAIL LOOKS LIKE A SEA OF DIAMONDS, WHILE THE MATTE COLOR GIVES IT AN ELEGANT TOUCH. THE SPECIALITY OF THIS POLISH DOESN’T ONLY LIE IN ITS FANTASTIC APPEARANCE. THE PEARLY EFFECT CAN ALSO BE FELT ON THE NAIL. WHEN USING A TOP COAT (E.G. MISSLYN SEALING TOP COAT), THE MATTE COLOR EFFECT WILL BE NEUTRALIZED AND THE SURFACE FEELS SMOOTHER. FEEL FREE TO EXPERIMENT WITH THE DIFFERENT EFFECTS. SKIN COMPATIBILITY DERMATOLOGICALLY APPROVED. SUITABLE FOR SENSITIVE SKIN.

So here they are, my newest beauties! (The photos did not come out as I hoped for, but you’ll be seeing these polishes in manicures soon anyway. I think the photos are a bit darker than the polishes are in RL.)

Misslyn Velvet Diamond nr. 36 Champagne:

This is the first nail polish I acqired from this brand and collection. It’s a nude (champagne) colour and it’s appropriate for everyday all-the-day situations. Regardless to where you are and what you’re doing, it will be your best companion. I personally wouldn’t wear it to strict business meetings, but other that that this nail polish will do just fine. 😉 It consists of mostly fine glitter, combined with a bit bigger (but still small) circular glitter; the final effect on the nail is breathtaking, at least to me. Looking forward to show you a swatch of this beauty! 😀

Misslyn Velvet diamond nr. 47 – Bright love:

This one is also a beauty. It looks brown in the bottle, but it shows it’s true beauty when applied in a manicure. I’d say the final color looks like somewhere between rosy-brown and rosewood colour, with copper and even some red-violet glitter (for the latter I’m not really sure, but to my eye it looks like so). The glitter is all the same size, nail polish is fine grained. Wow! This is a polish that is wearable in a lot of situations too. I’ve made some photos of my manicure today (yes, I’m wearing it for the last 4 days, yaaay! 😀 ), so you’ll be meeting this beauty in pics soon – hopefully tomorrow. 😉

Misslyn Velvet diamond nr. 48 – Heart stopping:

The name speaks for itself. 😀 A beautiful red. Combined with sand effect. For me, a poetry. ❤ This polish is a combination of finer glitter and a bit bigger circular glitter, as we’ve already talked for Champagne shade of this collection. Tomorrow I’m making a mani with this precious for the first time, and can’t wait!
