Hello, beauties!
It’s sunny outside for quite some time and thus time to wear holos! I just couldn’t wait to see these beauties on my nails, even if own just two holographic nail polishes – the third one (also on these photos) I mixed myself. π
Upper photo is made in the sunlight, and oh, how they shine! π I was so excited the whole day to show these you!
Lower two photos were made inside, with flash, just can’t get enough of this shine! π
The fairer shade is s-he 155. I found it very runny, so I had to take care at the application – too much of polish on the brush could quickly result in a nail catastrophy (I guess we all know how that looks, and no, we don’t want that). I bought it just a month ago, so maybe the formula will thicken with time. I got it in DM for 2,75β¬. I don’t like the s-he bottles much, because they are all square-y (and I’m all in for the rounded shapes π ), but I hear other women like these bottles, because they don’t take up much place. I didn’t use top coat, because I got a feeling, that holographic nail polishes don’t shine that much when covered in top coat – do you have the same feeling/experience? I gave it a good half an hour to dry, and it dried OK. As this is one of low-end nail polishes, I don’t expect much wearing longevity.
The darker shade I mixed myself; I wanted to have a red holo (and still do, mission is not accomplished yet!) and I mixed aΒ 155Β s-he holo with Essence 11 “So glamorous”. Well, the final result was a violet red, which is not really my colour, but still – so happy to flash the holos around! π
That’s it for today, my darlings, have a good night! I’ll be really happy to read about your experiences with topping holos – I’m really curious about that. Is it just me or do you get the same effect?
Sweet dreams!
